Quick references for the custom systems running on the SMP.

Custom Features

How Things Work

Land Claims

Protect Builds With A Golden Shovel

Select two corners with a golden shovel, then create a claim to protect blocks, containers, entities, and redstone-sensitive areas.

  • Use /claimblocks to check available claim blocks.
  • Use /claim create after selecting two corners.
  • Use /claim show, /claim info, and /claim list to inspect claims.
  • Use /claim resize to adjust a claim and refund or spend blocks.
Trust & Subclaims

Share Access Without Opening Everything

Trust gives full access in a claim. Subclaims create smaller regions inside a parent claim for rooms, shops, storage, or shared projects.

  • /trust <player>, /untrust <player>, and /trustlist manage claim access.
  • /subclaim create <name> creates a local region inside a claim.
  • /subclaim trust <player> grants access only inside that subclaim.
  • /claim protections opens clickable protection presets and flags.
Player Shops

Sell Items From Barrels

Shops are barrel-based and managed through an in-game GUI. They support single trades, multi-item shops, stock, payments, and remote shop management.

  • Shift-right-click a barrel to create or manage a shop.
  • Put the customer payment in the price slot and the sold item in the selling slot.
  • Shift-click items into the shop to add stock.
  • Use /shop list, /shop info, or /shop help.
Custom Paintings

Turn URLs Into Paintings

ImageFrame imports PNG, JPG, and GIF images as custom paintings, then distributes the generated textures through the server resource pack.

  • Create one with /imageframe create <name> <size> <url>.
  • Hold a painting and run /imageframe apply <name>.
  • Place it like a normal painting on a wall.
  • Use sizes like 1x1, 2x2, 4x3, and 4x4.
Warps & Hub

Move Around The Network

Server warps provide shared teleport points with a short safety delay. The hub command moves players back through the Velocity network.

  • Use /warps to list available warps.
  • Use /warp <name> to teleport after a 5-second countdown.
  • Moving or taking damage cancels pending warp teleports.
  • Use /hub when you need to return to the hub server.
Stats

Check Leaderboards In Game

The leaderboard commands let players compare Minecraft stats directly from chat, with short aliases and tab completion for categories and stat names.

  • Use /lb <category> <stat> [limit] to view a leaderboard.
  • The full command is /leaderboard <category> <stat> [limit].
  • Examples: /lb custom play_time and /lb mined diamond_ore 10.
  • Use /statboard show <category> <stat> to pin a live leaderboard sidebar.
  • Use /statboard hide to remove the sidebar.
Minecarts

Experimental Rails Without Breaking Vanilla Carts

Some minecart behavior can be opted into experimental movement while ordinary vanilla minecarts continue to work normally.

  • Experimental carts are intended for smoother, faster rail movement.
  • Detector rails can be configured by staff for experimental or normal behavior.
  • Useful staff commands include /slminecart info and /slminecart rail speed <value>.
  • Normal rail builds should keep their vanilla behavior unless deliberately changed.
Other Server Tweaks

Small Systems That Change Play

Several smaller mods tune the SMP experience without needing much player setup.

  • Dragon kills always drop a dragon egg and elytra.
  • Mount speeds can be tuned for rideable mobs like horses, camels, pigs, striders, and more.
  • Spawn confinement may be used for events or starts before play opens.
  • Staff tools cover moderation, inventory inspection, tab labels, and recovery commands.
